DRESS CODE

STANDARDIZED DRESS CODE POLICY FOR KINDERGARTEN - 8TH GRADE STUDENTS

(Students in our pre-school program are not required to wear specific tops or shorts/pants, but must still dress appropriately for outside play and must wear close-toed shoes for safety. They must also adhere to the school's hair policy.)

Students at Belvoir Christian Academy are expected to dress modestly, not calling undue attention to self. Students are to be neat and well groomed at all times during school hours.

All students are expected to come to school appropriately dressed. Faculty and staff will enforce the dress code beginning with the first day of school. Students will be given one warning per quarter. After the warning, students who are not appropriately dressed will be asked to call their parents to bring them appropriate clothing, or they will be sent home.

Students may not use non-dress code passes on chapel days (generally held each Wednesday).

The following is the expected dress code for all students in Kindergarten through 8th grade (the dress code does not apply to preschool students):

 Hair must be neat and well groomed. No Mohawks, Fauxhawks, hair carvings or extreme haircuts or colors. For boys, the length of hair SHOULD NOT exceed the top of the shirt color. Eyes and ears MUST be seen.
