Whopping Acts of ROAR!

BCA students ROAR by being Respectful, Optimistic, Accountable and Responsible. A teacher, staff or other adult who witnesses a student going above and beyond in the classroom or through an act of service will nominate them to receive the "Whopping Acts of ROAR" award for that week, presented by Principal David Topp.

Piano Lessons with Dr. Harr

Piano lessons are offered during the school day with Dr. Harr, music and choir director. Students also learn to play handbells, hand chimes and the ukulele in weekly music classes.

BCA Campus

BCA was established in 1887 in downtown Chattanooga. The school relocated to East Ridge in 1951, with the current building constructed in 1973.

Student-led chapels are important for building confidence in presentation skills and collaboration, but more importantly, building faith and relating Christian teachings to peers.

Music is an integral part of BCA's curriculum. From Christian hymns to composers and music theory, students learn the value that music adds to life and worship!

What BCA Means to Families

BCA Athletics

Sports opportunities for 3rd - 8th grade students include Cross Country, Soccer, Basketball, Volleyball and Track. Younger elementary students may participate in these sports through the Intramural program. 

Student Trips

BCA's 7th and 8th graders look forward to traveling to Washington D.C. every other year!

BCA's Faculty and Staff

BCA's faculty and staff is dedicated to educating, nurturing and loving each BCA student, from infants through pre-k4 and kindergarten through 8th grade. 

New Bibles

Second graders receive a new study Bible to use in daily "Jesus time" and will continue using it through the elementary level.

Our preschoolers love the new garden spot, thanks to the amazing volunteers who built it for all to enjoy!

BCA serves Infants - 8th Grade.

We welcome new families to Chattanooga by offering rolling enrollment for Infants - 8th Grade.
