EXTENDED CARE - K - 8TH GRADE

BCA's school day for kindergarten - eighth grade begins at 8:15 a.m. and ends at 3:20 p.m.

Morning Care:

For families who need morning care for their kindergarten through middle school child(ren) before 8:15 a.m., we offer morning care that begins at 7 a.m. Morning care for these grades is held in the cafeteria or gym. At 8 a.m., the K - 8th grade students are dismissed to their classroom. 

The rate is $6.00 per morning and will be billed to the family's PraxiSchool account. There is no charge for morning care for kindergarten through 8th grade students who arrive between 7:45 and 8 a.m. For families with K - 8th grade students who have questions about billing for morning care, please call the Student Accounts office at 423.622.3755, ext. 16.

Afternoon Care for K - 8th Grade - BCA is partnering with The Superlative Club.

Extended care for kindergarten through eighth grade begins after class dismissal at 3:20 p.m. Students may stay until 6 p.m. BCA is partnering with The Superlative Club to offer this service to our families.

The Superlative Club’s After School Program provides a safe, engaging, and enriching environment where students continue learning long after the school day ends. Each afternoon includes a balance of homework support, hands-on enrichment, outdoor recreation, snack time, and opportunities to build meaningful friendships in a positive and encouraging atmosphere.

Our program is designed to strengthen creativity, critical thinking, confidence, collaboration, and leadership while giving students exciting experiences they look forward to each day.

Monday – Friday from 3:20 to 6 p.m., available to enrolled BCA K - 8th grade students 

​After School Care Fees:
$315/student per month to attend full-time after care 
$275/student per month to attend part-time (3 days per week) after care.

Siblings receive a $25/month discount. 


10-day passes will be offered at a rate of $250.
Drop-in care will be offered at a rate of $35/day.

 

First Semester Enrichment - Aug. - Dec. 2026

​STEM, Tech and Innovation

Students become creators, inventors, and problem-solvers through exciting hands-on experiences in robotics, engineering, coding, science experiments, 3D design, technology, and innovation challenges. Every lesson encourages curiosity, collaboration, and creative thinking while preparing students for tomorrow’s world.

​Performing Arts

Students build confidence and creativity through acting, musical theatre, movement, improvisation, storytelling, performance techniques, and public speaking. Throughout the semester, students develop stage presence, teamwork, communication skills, and artistic expression while preparing for live performances.

​Leadership Academy

Students strengthen leadership, communication, teamwork, entrepreneurship, financial literacy, character development, goal setting, and problem-solving through engaging projects, collaborative activities, and real-world leadership experiences designed to build confidence both inside and outside the classroom.

End-of-Semester Student Showcase

At the conclusion of the first semester, families will be invited to attend a Student Showcase celebrating everything students have learned and created throughout the semester. Students will present STEM inventions and technology projects, perform selections from Performing Arts and demonstrate leadership projects and presentations as they celebrate their growth and accomplishments.

INFANTS - PRE-K4

For families who have children in the Infants - Pre-K4, we open at 6:30 a.m. and close at 6 p.m. Weekly tuition covers the 6:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. timeframe. Lunch is included in pricing

Please park in the back parking lot of the school and come in through the triple doors under the carport. A morning care giver will greet families and take children to their classrooms. In the afternoon, caregivers will bring children to families to the check in-out desk at pick-up time. 

LATE PICK-UP POLICY for INFANTS - Pre-K4

We must respect the time of our daycare staff and ensure that children are picked up from BCA daycare by 6 p.m. For each minute past 6 p.m., we will charge $10 for the first minute, plus $1 per minute after that, per child, payable at time of pick-up, per our updated policy.

For example, if you arrive at 6:07 p.m. to pick up your TWO children, you will be charged $32 for late pick-up. Therefore, to avoid these additional charges, please ensure that you arrive by 6 p.m. to pick up your child(ren). This BCA policy applies to Infants - Pre-K4 families.
