kindergarten options

Belvoir Christian Academy offers a half-day kindergarten program along with the traditional full-day program.

The half-day kindergarten program is from 8:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. During the morning hours, students will receive core academics as well as special classes such as Spanish, P.E. and music. They will be served a morning snack but will not eat lunch at school.

The full-day kindergarten program is identical during the hours of 8:15 a.m. and 12:15 p.m. However, at 12:15, children staying for the full day will eat lunch and have a rest time and recess (lunch not included in tuition for K and above). Following these activities, the afternoon teacher will provide an enrichment period daily, rotating between a literature, math, science and/or social studies activity. These activities are intended to reinforce and enhance academics covered during the morning.

At 3 p.m., full-day students are dismissed to go home or go to our aftercare. After-school child care is available until 6 p.m., and parents may choose to have their child in aftercare all five days of the school week or choose another combination of days.

We are happy to provide more options so that parents may choose the program and schedule that best serves the needs of their child and family as a whole. Please contact Emily Patton in Admissions at 423.622.3755. ext. 12 or [email protected] with questions.
