Development :: Golf Classic

A big “Thank You!” to everyone who helped make our Silent Auction, Dinner, and Golf Tournament a success and such fun!  We had 64 great auction items that raised $2,378 for our Morkert Scholarship Fund.  First place in the golf tournament went to the team of Gene McGee, Robbie Painter, Dan Emery, and Chris Smith; second place to the team of Rob Avriett, Eric Johnson, Dan Johnson, and Kyle Herron, and third place to the team of Chris Perry, Craig Riggins, Harold Weathers, and Tommy Bryant.  Thank you again to all our golfers, green sponsorship sign and auction donors and bidders!  An extra “Thank You!” to Donna Miller , Jane Mullinax, and Jamie Tyson for their awesome work on the auction and to Nikki Roberts for her invaluable help with our dinner catered from The Catering Company in Hixson.  A special “Thank You!” also to Diane and Jim Avriett, Cathy Butterworth, Kelly Chipman, Debbie Douglas, Mark Gluckner, Becky Ingram, Penny Johnson, Anne Langston, Todd Patterson, Linda Schroeder, Ola Scruggs, and of course, Mr. Streufert who helped at the golf tournament.  Stay tuned for the date in 2008!  You don’t want to miss it!
