I
have been teaching at Belvoir Christian Academy/Lutheran School for many years, actually
since 1965. I graduated from Concordia Teachers College in
Seward, Nebraska with a B.A. in Education. My first call was
to Lutheran School. My first years were spent teaching
2ndsecond grade. Since then I have taught 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th
and 9th grades and a variety of subjects. I also taught girls
P.E. for many years. I have coached Softball, Basketball, Cheerleading and continue
to coach Volleyball. I received my Masters degree from the
University of Tennessee at Chattanooga in 1989.
I am a member of
First Lutheran Church on McCallie Avenue where I am an active member
of the Choir and serve on the Camp Board. I have taught Sunday
School and VBS and have been involved with many summer camps at the
church's property in Soddy Daisy. Currently I am in training
to be a Stephen Minister in the congregation. I have spent all
of my ministry in Chattanooga except for the one year I taught in
Rochester, Minnesota. I have served some families, some for
two generations.
