My father is a retired Lutheran minister and we moved several times as I was growing up.  I was born in North Carolina, went to grade school at a Lutheran school in Chicago, and public high school in western New York State.  I have always loved sports and have played or coached sports for 40 years.  My career has always included athletics in some form or another. 

I have been in ministry at Belvoir Christian Academy for 20 years.  For most of that time I was a teacher of PE and Social Studies.  Five years ago I was asked to step into the position of principal.   It is indeed an awesome responsibility to be here for all of our students and families.  I have learned many new things and met many new people.  I especially like the fact that I have been able to get to know the parents of our children on a different level than I knew them before. 

I still like to teach in the classroom and have been able to do that for the last two years.  This year I am teaching 7^th Grade Pre-Algebra.   I also have not given up coaching.  This year I had the privilege of working with our 5^th and 6^th Grade soccer team. 

I am married to the fourth grade teacher at BCA.  We have three children.  My wife and I are very busy trying to fit all of their activities into our schedule.
