Cathy Butterworth

Assistant to the Principal

In 2004, I retired from the Cobb County, GA school system. I have 30 years of experience as a French teacher, special education teacher, and Middle School Assistant Principal.  I relocated to Chattanooga from Marietta, GA in 2005 to be near my family. 

I received an undergraduate degree in Secondary French education from the University of Georgia, as well as a Master of Education degree in Special Education from Georgia State University. In addition, I completed the Educational Specialist program in Administration/Supervision. 

I have 2 grandchildren at Belvoir Christian Academy.  I love my Chattanooga home which I share with my dog, Maggie and cats, Bella and Lily.
