Becky Meitzner

     I was born in Asheville, North Carolina and knew when I was in second grade that I wanted to be a teacher.  I earned my Bachelors degree from Concordia University, River Forest where I met my husband, Dave, and began my teaching career in Lincoln Park, Michigan.  We moved to Chattanooga in 1984, where we both taught at The Lutheran School.  Dave’s new job with Thrivent moved us to Appleton, Wisconsin in 1992 where I taught 11 years at Horizons Elementary. The amazing people I’ve worked with through the years have been a blessing.  They have truly taught me much!   I completed my Masters Degree in Education Arts at Viterbo University in July.  Coming back to BCA has been wonderful.  The warmth of new friends and familiar faces is great.

     We have two children, Kyle and Jessica.  Kyle attends Concordia Seminary in St. Louis and Jessica is a senior at Marquette University, Milwaukee.  They both got their start in school at BCA, and it has served them well!
